Where Do I Begin?
When it is difficult to answer the question, “What do I want?”
There are times when we realise that something in our lives has not felt right for a long time. Yet it can be hard to say what we want instead.
In the Anti-Goal Method, we begin with a different question:
Look at your life today: your relationships, work, responsibilities, communication, rest, and the way you treat yourself.
Complete the sentence a few times:
Read your answers again. Which one stands out most strongly? Underline it. That is the one we will explore next.

How Long Have I Been Living with This?
We gradually get used to certain things—even when they have not suited us for a long time.

What Is Keeping Me Here?
If the situation continues, there may be reasons it feels difficult to change. Look at them gently and honestly.
It might be a familiar routine, financial stability, a sense of security, or the possibility of avoiding conflict or a difficult decision.

The Cost of Keeping Things As They Are
Choosing not to change anything also has consequences.
The cost may involve time, energy, opportunities, interest in life, relationships, or respect for yourself.

What Is Within My Control?
Look at the situation once more. Separate what you cannot control from what you can influence.
Now choose one action that belongs in the second group.
The first step can be small: having a conversation, saying no, asking for help, looking for information, or making a decision you have been postponing.
When will I do it?
